Learning Support Assistant (1:1)

We are seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a EYFS (two to three year old) pupil at our highly acclaimed prep school in Belgravia, London. This role would be to begin and start asap, latest by January 2024.

Eaton Square Prep School & Nursery is situated in the heart of Eccleston Square, just a five minute walk from Victoria Station. The School caters for pupils between 2 – 11 years old and has a warm, supportive environment with a traditional British foundation, but a modern and international outlook. 

The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive and dedicated to supporting the child by catering to their specific educational or SENd needs. You will work as part of a team to ensure that the well-being and personal, social and emotional development of the pupil enhances their learning opportunities and life skills. This requires an organised, enthusiastic, hard-working team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding candidate.

Although you would not need any specific qualifications for the role, desires strengths we would like to see include:

• Someone with an early years background and good knowledge of the EYFS and the development matters framework
• Someone with experience of working with therapist and implementing daily therapy-based activities (SALT and OT)
• Someone who has 1:1 experience and is happy to work collaboratively with the class teacher/nursery manager in supporting the day-to-day
