LSA
Hours: 08.45-12.15 (3.5hrs per day)
Salary: SCP 5-6 (from £9.74 per hour)

MDSA
Hours: 12.15-1.15 (1hr daily)
Salary: SCP 1-2 (from £9.00 per hour)

St Katharine’s is a thriving primary school in the heart of Savernake Forest.  We are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic LSA/MDSA to join our supportive, hardworking and dedicated team.   This post is primarily to work with our Reception class although as class structure changes, year on year, to meet the needs of our learners this may change. As such we are looking to appoint a person who is interested in working with children across the Primary phase. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the class teacher and others to deliver an excellent learning experience for all children.  

We are looking for someone who:

• Is interested in the process of learning.

• Is interested in their own development and learning.

• Enjoys working with children.

• Is calm, organised and flexible.

• Can employ strategies to manage behaviour effectively and positively.

• Can work collaboratively as part of a team and is able to use intiative. 

• Shows integrity and confidentiality. 

• Can enthuse and motivate children. 

• Has a GCSE pass in English and Maths (or equivalent).

• Experience of a previous role working with children is desirable.
