About the Apprenticeship
The SEND Learning Support Assistant Apprentice Level 3 (LSA) role will involve providing learning and care support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them work towards achieving their EHCP outcomes. This will involve working with the teachers and teaching assistants to plan and deliver activities and supporting the student with routines, transitions and behaviour management.
Apprenticeship Requirements
This apprenticeship requires 40 weeks a year at 40 hours per week 8.30am-4.30pm (not including unpaid break times), 6 hours non-pupil contact training hours.
Post is for 5 days per week, 38 weeks term time, plus 5 days INSET and plus 5 additional training days.
The contract term is 18 months.
