Please note as a result of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19), some interviews are still going ahead but remotely via TEAMS or SKYPE.

Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, with an hour  unpaid lunch break.

We require enthusiastic members of staff to work as Learning Support Assistants (Teaching Assistants Level 1) at Meadhurst Primary School on a temporary basis.

The post holders will support the class teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children in schools; which may include pupils with special needs.

Candidates should have basic numeracy and literacy skills e.g. through GCSE qualifications in English and maths or equivalent, or be able to evidence ability at an equivalent level. Excellent interpersonal and listening skills are essential, as is a commitment to helping each student achieve their full potential.

This position may be of interest to people who wish to consider a career in teaching to get classroom experience prior to commencing teacher training.
