Job overview

We are looking for an experienced and committed Learning Support Assistant who has worked with students in an education setting or in the voluntary sector, to join our friendly Student Services team.  

This is a part-time, temporary post that will run for the duration of the A Level course (two years), in the first instance and is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and successful department.  

Providing 1:1 support to students, you will help with overall development and academic work, whilst supporting students' physical and mental wellbeing.  

We are looking for a kind, caring and sensitive individual with a positive attitude, plenty of enthusiasm and high levels of integrity and professionalism. 

Salary: Currently £19,300  - £21,340 pro rata, per annum depending on experience, plus £2,643 pro rata per annum, London Weighting. Actual full-time equivalent salary, term time only, is currently in the range of £18,286 - £19,986 inclusive per annum, depending upon experience.

Contract: Fixed term to June 2021
