Job overview

Clutton Primary School is looking to employ a flexible and dedicated professional with classroom experience to support children with special educational needs across the school. 

You will be working alongside the class teachers and SENCo to provide a high standard of support and will need to be able to plan, deliver and monitor work to meet the needs of the support plans, as well as adapting materials to support the pupils. 

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has the following attributes:

  • A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of the child.
  • Empathy and understanding of children’s individual learning abilities
  • Patience and a good sense of humour
  • Flexibility to work with children aged 4- 11 years
  • Willing to go the extra mile for the children in their care
