32.5 hours per week – term time plus INSET days
The salary range is scale 3, spinal point scale 14 – 17 (£16,481 - £17,547 pro rata) plus London Weighting £1,830 pro rata –
circa £14,520 - £15,365 (inclusive of London Weighting)
We are looking for well-qualified graduates to support students with SEND up to GCSE level in the following subjects:
Graphics & Art
Science
Working with students in the Additionally Resourced Provisions for Communication & Interaction Needs (ASD &SLCN)
As a Learning Support/Teaching Assistant you will be committed to inclusive education by helping students with a range of SEND access the curriculum, participate in the wider life of the school and reach their potential.
We are looking to appoint people with good literacy, numeracy and communication skills as well as initiative, flexibility, a sense of humour and the ability to relate to young people with a variety of needs. We are particularly keen to hear from graduates who are looking to go into the teaching profession. Experience of working with young people of secondary age would be an advantage.
