Robert Blake School is seeking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated team. You will support students in class and provide one-to-one and small group interventions outside of lessons. A commitment to improving outcomes for all students is essential. Experience of working with students with additional needs is desirable. Good Literacy and numeracy skills are required.

These roles will involve providing personal care and mobility support for a student with physical needs. This includes assistance with toileting, dressing, eating, transfers (including hoisting), and implementing physiotherapy programmes. Full training will be provided.

Robert Blake School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Bridgwater, Somerset. There are currently 975 students aged 11-16 on the school roll.

Robert Blake School is named for a distinguished 17th-century military commander who was born in Bridgwater. The town is located to the west of the Quantocks and has a population of 41,000.

The school is housed in a wonderful building completed in 2012, and boasts fantastic facilities.  The school environment provides every opportunity for students to learn and achieve.
