Salary range £23,032 per annum (full time equivalent)

Location/s Orpington and Bromley

Hours/ work pattern: 30 hours per week 38 weeks per year

The Role

You will be working in the Learning Centre supporting students and staff in all aspects of the use of the Learning Centres. Provide study skills and information retrieval skills support. Support the development of and deliver study skills sessions (one to one or groups) and research, develop and maintain resources. Contribute to the development of e-learning strategies and resources. Promote the service with students and staff. Identify and respond to curriculum needs.

 

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a library environment or familiar with working in a learning support role. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others. You’ll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with strong digital skills, sound administration skills and preferably have experience of using a Library Management System.
