We have vacancies for full-time Learning Support Assistants to work either within the Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) for pupils with social communication difficulties or as part of our Learning Support Department for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
· You will support students in the mainstream classroom as well as supporting / leading small group interventions within the ARP or Learning Support Department
· You will need to be patient, calm and assertive with good empathy skills
· Knowledge and experience of working with students with SEN is desirable though not essential, as is an ability to understand the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
· Ability to support students to access the English and Maths curriculum (up to GCSE) is desirable
