St Mary's is a Catholic day and boarding school for girls aged 4–18, which welcomes children of all faiths and none. Located centrally in Cambridge, we provide the highest quality education within a happy, challenging, supportive and caring environment. Students do not attend school on Saturdays.

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for our Senior School. Working under the direction of the Head of Learning Support, the LSA will support students with additional learning needs. To be successful, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be well-educated and have relevant previous experience. 

This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, working from Wednesday to Friday, term time only.

St Mary’s School is a girls-only, non-selective, Roman Catholic, all-through school with sixth form situated in Cambridge. It is an independent school with day and boarding options. A smaller than average school, it provides 750 places for junior, senior and sixth-form students between the ages of 3 and 18 when fully subscribed.

The school was founded by sisters from the Congregation of Jesus in 1898. They drew their inspiration from 17th-century religious sister the Venerable Mary Ward, basing it on her vision of the essential dignity of each human.
