Learning Support Assistant

Coloma Convent Girls' School in Shirley, London, is recognised as being one of the top non-selective secondary schools in the country. We are consistently oversubscribed and have received four ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted and four ‘Outstanding’ Diocesan reports and ‘World Class School’ status (one of only 34 schools in the country).  

We seek to appoint a teaching assistant to provide support for pupils with special educational needs. We invite you to become part of our vibrant and engaging learning community, which promotes the highest of achievement and endeavours to enable all pupils to become full members of the wider society. We will expect you to engage in the whole life of the school and be able to work flexibly alongside staff and to have excellent, oral and written report skills. 

Coloma is very proud of its history of academic achievement; this is due to hard work, focus and dedication to Coloma’s ethos shown by pupils and staff alike. In 2016 we achieved remarkable exam results with a 93% 5 A*- C Pass Rate at GCSE and 100% at A-Level.
