22.00 hours per week (part time 0.6)
Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (with 5.00 pm finish on Tuesday)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support students with EAL and language difficulties, where you will be required to integrate them into class activities and boost their English language skills, grammar, speaking and understanding. Experience of supporting students with EAL is desired but not essential, but you will need to be passionate about supporting students to overcome barriers to learning.
What experience do I need?
- You will have experience of working with EAL children or young people with a variety of learning and medical needs.
- You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in using computers and technology.
- You must have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills and be flexible in your approach.
- You must have the ability to relate to young people.
- A suitable qualification and/or experience is desirable.
The appointee will be required to complete a six-month period of probation.
