About The Endeavour Co-Operative Academy

The Endeavour is a special school for children aged between 5 and 16. In December 2018 we converted to become an academy as part of Keys Co-operative Academy Trust.

We place the child at the centre of everything we do. Our philosophy is that learning is a partnership of discovery involving the school, pupils, parents, and the wider community. It is through this philosophy that we seek to develop the intellectual, physical, moral and social potential of every pupil in the school. Our curriculum is designed to be well balanced, but at the same time addressing the individual needs of the child. The pupils are encouraged to become responsible and confident citizens, able to effectively express their needs, thoughts and feelings and respond appropriately to the demands of living in the community. It is our sincere aim that pupils will feel valued and in turn will value themselves and others.

We have a full team of experienced staff - there is very little staff turnover.  Similarly, the school benefits from a strong local governing body with a range of skills to support staff, parents and pupils.  The school works closely with other Special Schools, especially at leadership level, to provide a high quality of provision across the county.

Brentwood benefits from excellent transport links via the nearby A12, M25 and mainline railway into London.  The new Crossrail service will terminate at Shenfield, just 1.5 miles from school.

At The Endeavour Co-operative Academy we continually strive to improve the quality of education and opportunities for our pupils.   Many developments have been completed in recent years and challenges abound for future development.
