Term time plus 5 non-pupil days (39 working weeks in total)
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm
Salary range: LGS Scale 4, point 7-8
Actual Salary Range £16,677 to £16,972 (prior to April 2023 cost of living increase, which is still pending) – (including outer fringe allowance).
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support students with special needs.
Experience of working with children to support them accessing work and their emotional well-being is an essential pre-requisite. The role will also require supervising students during unstructured times of the day and may include 1:1 intervention sessions, as and when required.

St Martin's is a large co-educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi-rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. The school, which also includes a large sixth form block, is situated on an open, attractive 30-acre site. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, which is easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).
