Learning Support Assistant

About the role:  

Chipping Ongar Primary School is a member of Bridge Academy Trust which educates children aged 4-11years. We are opening a new enhanced provision for children with severe learning difficulties in our Maple Classroom.  We would like to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to be part of this new and vital team. You will need to be committed to making a difference and have the enthusiasm to improve pupil engagement and communication for children who may find this challenging.   

We are looking for a candidate who has:   

• The experience and enthusiasm to work as part of a team in a supportive environment as a Learning Support Assistant for SLD pupils.  

• Experience working across the primary range and experience of working with children with additional needs.  

• Have an interest in working with children and making a difference.  

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to shar 10 e in the commitment.  Appointments will be subject to DBS clearance and satisfactory references. If successful, an enhanced DBS check would be sought.
