27.5 hours per week, term time only (plus INSET day)
8.45am - 3.15pm (12.15pm -1.15pm is lunchtime)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team as a class LSA and to support SEN children on a 1:1 basis, when required. The successful candidate will need to have a qualification that is at least NVQ level 2 or equivalent, and Maths and English GCSEs, grade C or equivalent.
The successful candidate should also:-
Have experience of working in KS2 and feel confident that they are able to support the teaching and learning demands of children in this phase.
Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN
Be resilient and positive, showing initiative and flexibility
Have a confident grasp of literacy and mathematics
Be able to work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO
Be firm and consistent
Be approachable, patient and understanding
