Learning Support Assistant – Events Linked 

We require a Learning Support Assistant to work in our friendly and popular expanding three form entry school.   ‘There’s no limit to what we can achieve’ Downsview Primary School is an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school (2015). We require a Learning Support Assistant to support a SEN child with literacy and numeracy difficulties, giving 1:1 support. The position also includes lunchtime supervision. 

Applicants are required to demonstrate: 

• Experience of working with children with SEND 

• Previous experience working with primary and foundation stage children • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills, relevant childcare qualifications preferred. 

• Have good verbal communication skills.   

Position available from: 4th September 2017 (Fixed Term to July 2018- role linked to SEN child) 

Hours: Part-Time - term time only (hours to be confirmed, dependent on SEND child) Salary:

Grade 2 (spine point 11-13) (full time £18,357-£18,396) pro rata
