37 hours per week. 39 weeks per year

Required as soon as possible, an enthusiastic person to support pupils with a range of complex additional needs. Applicants should have a proven record of classroom support strategies, have worked with pupils with a range of complex needs, and be able to deliver literacy, numeracy and study skills interventions.

Knowledge of ASD, Dyslexia, literacy and numeracy strategies and medical needs is a requirement, as is a relevant NVQ3 or higher qualification. 

William Farr is a popular, rural comprehensive school. In the 2006 OFSTED inspection the school was judged to be outstanding, and our 2009 inspection confirmed this remarkable achievement. The school gained academy status in 2011 and has approximately 1450 students on roll.
