Position: Learning Support Assistant
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Role Overview:
As a Learning Support Assistant at Queensbridge Primary School, you will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to provide targeted support for a child who requires extra help with their learning. Your role will be vital in providing 1:1 support to the pupil to overcome barriers to learning, enabling them to participate fully in classroom activities.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role
- Good understanding of child development and special educational needs (SEN)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with children
- Basic IT skills for supporting learning activities
