At Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College we put learners at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking to recruit motivated and passionate Learning Support Assistants to assist our students with their learning and development. A key aspect of this role will include liaising with teaching staff, preparing appropriate support materials, assisting in learning planning and delivery. You will encourage students to explore different learning materials and strategies. You will also provide support to the learners during break times, moving between classes, provide general personal care and encourage them to use all the facilities of the College

The Person

You will have a proven track record of working with students and providing learning support, with a keen interest in supporting our students. The successful candidate will:

• Be competent in managing the care of learners
• Have the knowledge required to help learners develop their study skills
• Be able to assess and monitor learner progress
• Understand and recognise learner achievements
• Have the ability to identify teaching strategies that meet individual learning objectives
• Be experienced in setting standards of behaviour and acting as a role model
• Be able to maintain a safe and friendly learning environment
• Be able to maximise the use of available resources.
• Have a collaborative, flexible and positive attitude.

Hours: 30 hours per week - Term-time Only
Tenure: Permanent
Assessment and Interview Date: TBC
