  Learning Support Assistant Support Staff Scale Point 18 (FTE £16,824 pro-rated for part time, term time only) 25 - 35 hours per week   St Vincent College Learning Support Unit (LSU) provides education for students aged 16 to 25 years who have a variety of medical, communication, physical and learning difficulties, ranging from moderate to severe / profound.   We offer quality education in a caring atmosphere and require staff that can support and facilitate learning, supervise and provide personal care for students. The LSU requires enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistants to work between 25 and 35 hours per week, term time only. As well as needing great communication skills and the ability to use your initiative, you will also require a great sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a team. Our Learning Support Assistants work in close partnership with class teachers to promote learning for all students.  Some experience of working on intervention programmes with individuals and small groups of students would be of benefit.
