Job overview

Park View is a high-performing, diverse and inclusive community school in Tottenham, North London.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants with experience of working with young people and an understanding of the issues faced by those with special educational needs. You will also need excellent communication skills.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience in delivering small-group literacy and numeracy initiatives
  • Experience in working with students on a one-to-one basis
  • Experience in catering for SEND pupils encompassing a variety of needs: challenging behaviour, ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia
  • Knowledge of the secondary curriculum
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

In this fixed-term role for 12 months, you will work 36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
