St Dominic’s has provided post 16 education in Harrow since 1979 and over that period of time has developed specialist teaching and support that is recognized for its excellence in the local area and beyond.   In our last inspection, we were judged to be an ‘outstanding’ College and have been awarded many national accolades over recent years.  The campus gives us a university feel and allows students to concentrate on their studies and to make the very best use of our superb academic facilities.

We are looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant to support students, build skills and lead small group interventions.

The applicant should have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.  They should show a range of experience of working with students with a variety of SEND in academic settings. The above post provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality environment and to become part of a highly motivated and visionary staff.

St. Dominic's is the longest established centre for Catholic post-16 education in the Diocese of Westminster. The College provides a wide choice of GCE A, Applied A and AS courses. In addition, BTEC Level 3/ Extended Diploma (Edexcel)

All students are fully supported by Personal Tutors in preparation for employment or higher education. The College provides a Religious Education programme for all students. The Course is accredited by the National Open College Network and students are awarded a Level 1 in Year 12 and a Level 2 Year 13. The examination success rate is outstanding and the vast majority of students progress to higher education.  A wide range of extra-curricular activities is available. 

There is easy access by Metropolitan/Piccadilly lines, British Rail and local bus services.
