Learning Support Assistant (HLTA)

LVS Hassocks is a multi-award winning specialist school for young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism.

You will work directly with children and young people with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum (ASD). LSA's have a varied role within the classroom and school including assisting the teacher, working with individuals or groups of children, organising and running some activities, supporting with off-site activities and producing displays and resources.

Candidates must display some knowledge of special educational needs and Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support in Teaching & Learning in schools or equivalent is desirable.
