Temporary for one term in the first instance
The main purpose of the job is to provide academic support for individual students or small groups of students as set out in our SEN snapshots or EHCP and as directed by the SENCO. This post is term time for one term commencing September 2017. This post requires a caring and engaging member of staff willing to develop their skills. No prior SEN qualifications are required but the applicant must demonstrate a good standard of education to GCE or degree level. We would consider applications from gap year students.
Each student will have different needs, so the post holder must take an adaptable and flexible approach. It is envisaged that the precise responsibilities may change as they are dependent upon the needs of the students.
