As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we are currently recruiting for an experienced and inspiring Learning Support Assistant within our HubeXtra department. This exciting opportunity is on a permanent basis.




You will be working with students who have complex needs and your ability to develop trusting relationships is critical to this role. This role will require you to follow process but also use your initiative with the demands of the student environment. An interest in teaching and a desire to improve these student’s lives is essential.




This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a strong understanding of the wide range of needs students have in an FE setting that affects the achievement of goals.




You will be adaptable, resilient and have a desire to make a lasting difference to the lives of our students. Your classroom and behavioural management skills will be strong and you will have the ability to work with students who have a wide range of emotional and physical needs.




To be successful you must have at least GCSE in English and Maths to grade C or above, or a recognised equivalent qualification (FS L2), and current skill levels at L2 in Literacy, Language and Numeracy. You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 subject qualification and a teaching qualification is preferable in PTLLS or equivalent.
