Learning Support Assistant, Wavertree - Immediate start - ongoing contract  

Vision for Education (part of TES) are excited to be working with a friendly and welcoming school in Wavertree, Liverpool. This is an average sized primary school where the well-being of children is of the up-most importance. Behavior in the school is good and teachers have high expectations of children and their attainment. 

As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • To work with teachers as part of a professional team to support learning. The primary focus will be to work under the professional direction of a teacher and within an agreed system of supervision in delivering lessons set by or with teacher.
  • To work with a team of staff, supporting pupils with medical needs, recording key information, following relevant policies and procedures and liaising with parents where required.
  • To be committed to safeguarding all children. 
  • To lead small Phonics groups daily. 

To be considered for the role Level 2 LSA qualification is required.
