Job overview

The school is looking for an ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join their outstanding SEN team. The successful candidate will provide daily support to teachers and students and will be expected to run small group activities and 1:1 interventions if necessary. Classroom experience and exposure to working with SEN students would be preferred, however full training will be given. 

The main duties will include:

  • Working alongside the Class Teacher, using your own initiative to enthuse students’ learning
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
  • Working alongside the other LSAs in maintaining a stimulating Resource Base - The Skills Centre

Hours: 29 hours per week, term time only

Salary range:  £18,517.00 - £22,918.00 (Full Time Equivalent) pro rata, depending on experience.
