Learning Support Assistant

32 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (Part time)

We are recruiting a permanent member of staff to support the students primarily in our new Autism Provision but may also include supporting students across the school.

Maplewell Hall is a special school for students with moderate learning difficulties aged 11 – 19 years. At present there are 183 students on roll. The school is situated in extensive grounds in Charnwood Forest just outside Woodhouse Eaves and is six miles from Loughborough. Maplewell Autism Provision (MAP) opened in September 2016.

MAP provides personalised learning for students with high functioning Autism and is designed to support students in reaching their full potential.

Working with our students at Maplewell is both challenging and rewarding. Our team of staff work together to develop students’ confidence, academic and practical life skills, preparing them for life after school.
