Learning Support Assistant - level 2

The ideal candidate will be:

·      Teaching assistant qualifications/equivalent and/or a desire to achieve their Level 2 qualification.

·      A love of learning and a passion for inspiring children.

·      Excellent, professional communication and interpersonal skills.

·      The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

·      A determined and resourceful approach to supporting learning.

·      A sensitive and relentlessly positive approach to supporting students in their learning.

 A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

About the role, you will:

·      Work alongside teachers and the SEND team to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students.

·      Support the delivery of a variety of lessons and activities.

·      Work with individual students or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.

·      Monitor the progress of students towards their learning goals and feedback to teachers and the SENDCo

·      Create and use resources to support learning.

·      Contribute to the overall well-being and pastoral care of students.
