Learning Support Assistant – Level 2

Salary £20,043 - £21,269pa pro rata (Full Time Equivalent)

32.5hrs per week, term time only plus 5 days

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 pupilsin Stockton-on-Tees. There are approximately 1170 students on roll with a pan of 237 in each year group.

Required for September 2022, a highly organised, motivated, and experienced professional to join our busy SEND team. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will together with members of the SEND team, you will work under the instruction/guidance of the SENDCo to undertake work that enables access to learning for pupils, including those with SEN. Work will be carried out in the classroom and outside the main teaching area. Recent and relevant experience of working with and/or caring for children, preferably within an education setting is essential.

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, serving pupils from the age of 11-16. The Academy is situated in Fairfield and has approximately 1,180 pupils on roll.
