36 hours per week x 40 weeks per annum
Subject to increase after successful probation
We wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with experience of working with children with English as an Additional Language. The position would predominantly involve working with children in small groups to deliver a specific intervention programme to meet the learners’ needs. In addition some in-class support would also take place to ensure learners have the necessary literacy skills to access all areas of the curriculum.

The successful candidate for the EAL/Literacy Learning Support Assistant post would have:
- a proven track record of working with pupils for whom English is an additional language
- A TEFL related qualification
- a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality
- the skills to assist students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- the ability to use own initiative
