“Staff are proud to work at the school. They feel well looked after because leaders are considerate of their workload.” Ofsted 2023
We require a Learning Support Assistant to work with our students who have special educational needs. The ability to teach EAL would be an advantage.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm), Term Time Only.
Students at HFCS are happy, vibrant and keen to learn. We work hard to instil excellent behaviour in line with our ASPIRE values and Catholic ethos. HFCS is a successful and happy school which has undergone a significant investment programme giving us excellent facilities in sport, drama, technology and science.
We are a friendly and supportive Catholic school with an inclusive ethos. In March 2023, the school received a graded Ofsted inspection and retained "Good" in all areas. Some of the comments from our very positive report are:
"Pupils said they enjoy the strong friendships they build here. The school is welcoming and like a family. Pupils appreciate the supportive staff who push them to go the extra mile in their work. They are safe and happy at school. Staff have high expectations of pupils’ work and behaviour, and leaders have clear aspirations for pupils to succeed.”
Our latest Catholic School Inspection report (February 2026) graded HFCS as “Outstanding” in every category, commenting that:
“This is an authentic Catholic school at the heart of its community, where the mission is not merely articulated but profoundly lived.
Across year groups, pupils engage purposefully in independent work, showing intellectual curiosity, resilience and a capacity for theological reflection.”
