Learning Support Assistant
Part-time, term time only fixed term contract – 1 year
The Learning Support Department aims to support the needs of those individuals and groups with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who may require additional support to fully access the wider curriculum. The department is well resourced and provides a positive and safe working atmosphere for some of the schools most vulnerable children. As Learning Support Assistant you will be working with a committed and enthusiastic team of LSAs led by the school’s Special Needs Co-ordinator.
The successful candidate will perform a role that will comprise of up to 30 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week, in class support for students with Statements of Special Educational Need and those with Education, Health and Care Plans. Salary pay pro-rata, band B (£15669 – 16074 FTE).
