Learning Support Assistant – SEN (2 posts) 

Salary Band: Scale 3 £16,781 - £17,772 (pro rata) 

Working pattern: 30 hours per week 8.30 am – 3.30 pm (unpaid breaks totalling 1 hour) Permanent, term time only plus 5 days. Starting Date: 1 September 2017  

Pax Christi Catholic Partnership is a Multi Academy Trust comprising of St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy, Bedlington and Ss Peter & Paul’s Catholic Academies, Cramlington.  Together we offer high quality education in a Catholic Christian environment to children from the age of 3 to 18.  

The Board of Directors wish to appoint two Learning Support Assistants to work with the SENCO and Learning Support Team to provide support to pupils with special educational needs. These are key roles and require the post holders to provide high quality support to allow pupils to access learning across the curriculum and promote their social and personal development.   

Good numeracy, literacy & IT skills are essential to the post.  The successful candidate will be a qualified teaching assistant and will be joining a team of professional and motivated teaching and support staff.
