Job overview

We are looking for a Part time Learning Support Assistant who will be able to make a positive impact on the learning and progress of our great pupils.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working on a 1-2-1 basis with one of our pupils who needs extra support. There will also be occasions where you will be supporting across other classes and year groups. 

This is the ideal role for a supportive Learning Support Assistant who has previous in school experience. We welcome applications from all, this would provide a great opportunity for you to join a great school and work with passionate pupils.  

You will be supporting in all areas so a qualifications in Maths and English GCSE, grade C or above is required. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing and have ICT skills to support pupils’ learning is also essential.

In this pupil facing LSA role an understanding of how to build rapport and positive relationships with pupils and their parents will be needed. You should be able to develop strong relationships with all, excellent communication skills will be key.
