Position: Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant

Role Overview:
As a Learning Practitioner at Newbury Park Primary School, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential within an inclusive environment. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to deliver tailored support that enhances students’ educational experiences.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Diploma qualification relevant to education or learning support
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
- Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies for effective intervention
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Proficient in using basic IT tools for record keeping and reporting
