At Christ the King we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to work within our SEND team. You will support the needs of a range of students with a variety of needs and backgrounds. The work will be varied and rewarding; you will deal with punctuality, absence, specific learning needs, challenging behaviour and low esteem. 

We currently have 2 roles available: 1 for 37 hours per week and 1 for 32.5 hours per week.

This role will include an element of personal care responsibilities. 

We are a welcoming and successful 11-18 academy providing a Catholic education in Arnold, Nottingham.  We strive to ensure that each young person is safe, happy, and successful and we pride ourselves on providing an excellent educational experience for all students which is underpinned by our mission which is:

‘To provide the best education and care we can for all members of our Living Faith Community’.

Applicants must have a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent which ideally includes English and Maths. Higher level academic qualifications will be considered an advantage. Applicants must ideally have prior experience of working with young people, have strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to support students both in a pastoral and academic capacity.
