The role

Wingfield Academy is looking for a proactive and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Inclusion Department on a permanent basis.  

This is a key role supporting students across all year groups, working with individuals and small groups who experience barriers to learning, helping them to access the curriculum and make progress with their studies. You will also act as a 'Lead Worker' for a specific number of students, working closely with parents/carers to coordinate planning and review the impact of our provision. 

An understanding or experience of working with vulnerable young people and those with learning or behaviour difficulties is essential. You will also be flexible enough to meet the changing demands of a busy school day and be able to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work is essential.
