Riversdale Primary School is seeking an excellent Learning Support Assistant to join our committed and forward-thinking team. This is an opportunity to work in a school where high expectations, strong relationships and inclusive practice sit at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll work closely with individual pupils and small groups in our Alternative Resource Provision/ASC Base, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and dynamic environment.
We are passionate about the education of our children, continuous professional development of all staff and a strong partnership with parents and the wider community.
Within the base all pupils have an EHCP who have speech, language and communication needs including Autism. It is important to us that all adults contribute to the growth and development of every child and support their individual needs.
You will be a calm, patient and resourceful individual who will be able to respond positively to the challenges of working with pupils of all abilities within the base.
You will work under the direction of the class teacher and will be expected to support individuals and small groups of children. A minimum of GCSE Level 4 (grade C) or above in English and Maths and NVQ Level 2 in teaching assistance or equivalent experience are required.
