37 hours per week TTO plus 1 week (39 weeks)


We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our fantastic school as a Learning Support Assistant.


Rugby High School is a successful, calm, respectful and welcoming school, it is a delightful environment in which to work. We currently have 889 students on roll who are all motivated, well-behaved and value their education. 


The successful candidate will support specific students with SEND, for example ASD and SEMH, in order to facilitate their access to the curriculum and maximise their independence while meeting individual EHCP and other requirements. 



Key responsibilities include:


• Provide mentoring, support and guidance to students

• Establish effective relationships with both the teaching and support staff who work closely with the student

• Carry out student observations to identify appropriate intervention strategies 

• Record interactions and student progress 

• Implement strategies and adjustments to support students’ learning

• Work with students needing support both inside and outside of the classroom
