The Hawthorns School is a thriving prep day school for children between the ages of 2 and 13. Located on an idyllic 35-acre estate in Bletchingley, Surrey, our mission is to prepare each child for life and to inspire a love of learning.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our friendly and talented team to provide support in the classroom and to our Sports Department. The role will include coaching major team sports and other sporting activities to various year groups during the school day, followed by sport-based after school clubs/activities. Candidates will have solid experience of participating in team sports. Having a sports specialism would be advantageous. This position would be ideally suited for someone who wants to gain experience in teaching with view to a future career in this sector.
This part-time position is for 30 hours per week, with a requirement to work some Saturdays during term time, and is initially for a fixed term period until the end of the academic year.
