Full Time Equivalent: £18,887.00 TO £19,650.00 per annum

Actual Pro Rata Salary: £10,957.70 to £11,400.37 per annum

Hours: 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm

Start Date: October 2022

St Mary's Catholic Voluntary Academy are seeking to appoint a caring and passionate Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a named pupil.

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Leaning Support Assistant looking to join a warm and welcoming school? You will have a talent for engaging children and will be required to support teachers with raising the attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.

You will:

Work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion

Be caring and supportive

Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
