5 x Learning Support Assistants

City of Westminster College is embarking on an exciting stage of its development. With a thriving student population, a strong and growing business portfolio and a stunning £102m new campus, we are poised to become the first choice College in the capital for students and staff. Recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, pursuing a new growth strategy, the College continues on with its quest to make an impact on both the quality of teaching and learning as well as the progression and employment opportunities of our learners.

We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants who will be working term-time only, initially for the academic year 2017/18. Based at our newly refurbished Maida Vale Campus in the School of SLDD, you will be supporting young people with learning disabilities assisting them to engage successfully in their learning programmes which are designed to develop independent living and employability skills, and support community participation. Please note that we welcome applications from male candidates due to personal care of male students.

To succeed in these roles, you will need excellent communication, time management and team working skills. In return, the College offers generous annual leave, a contributory final salary pension scheme, access to our state-of-the-art gym, an interest-free season ticket loan, cycle scheme, childcare voucher scheme, free sight tests, enhanced maternity and paternity leave schemes and many other benefits.
