- The job is term time: Monday – Friday, 39 weeks per year
- Part time: 11:45am – 3:30pm (18.75 hours per week)
We have an exciting opportunity for a number of hardworking, energetic and innovative Learning Support Assistants (Teaching Assistants) at Meadhurst Primary School on a fixed term basis in the first instance. This role supports the class teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children in schools, which may include pupils with special needs.
Candidates should have basic numeracy and literacy e.g. through GCSE qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level and should possess excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a commitment to helping each student achieve their full potential.
This position may be of interest to people who wish to consider a career in teaching to get classroom experience prior to commencing teacher training.
