North Cestrian School (NCS) are currently looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on a permanent basis. This new post is an exciting opportunity to join the North Cestrian School community. The purpose of the role is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for supporting pupils so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement whilst promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This will involve supporting in lessons and/or delivering and monitoring learning programmes to support individual pupils or small groups. The successful applicant will be flexible, have excellent communication and organisation skills and a passion for working with children.
