Learning Support Assistant
26.5 hours per week - Term Time only
Grade 4 (actual starting salary £10,564)
2 x Temporary contracts (January - April) & (January - July)
Please note that whilst these positions are currently temporary, due to school need there is a possibility that these posts may be extended or made permanent in future.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join a team who provide learning support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
The successful candidate will hold, or be willing to study for, an S.E.N Level 2 or 3 qualification and have;
- The ability to relate well with children and adults
- Good numeracy/literacy skills
- A good understanding of child development and learning
- Experience of working or caring for children
- Up to date knowledge of child protection
