We are very excited to offer the opportunity for an appropriately qualified, experienced and inspiring learning support assistant to join our new school which opened to pupils in the summer term 2022. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of supporting pupils with special educational needs, ideally within the secondary phase and evidence of working with children with SEMH.
The post represents an incredible opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a highly unique SEND setting. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who thrives on working in a challenging but equally immensely rewarding environment, who is passionate about the development of our pupils, who truly wants to make a difference to the lives of our young people.
About The Haven School Wolston
Our School is a new registered independent school which is situated in a beautiful rural location in the Warwickshire countryside. Our core aim is to offer a highly bespoke education to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing and life chances of vulnerable children who struggle in a mainstream educational setting.
This role has become available due to the increasing number of students at the school. The school is due to increase its capacity to 20 students in September 2023, with further expansions planned to increase the capacity to up to 40 students.
The School caters for pupils with SEMH, Autism and ADHD from a number of local authorities and schools and provide them will a highly specialist and individualized educational experience to allow them to overcome their barriers to learning. We are looking to appoint an individual who shares our unflinching commitment to providing the young people we will serve with the best possible future life chances.

The Haven Wolston was inspected by OFSTED in March 2023 and has been graded as good in all areas.
