Maida Vale School is a warm and supportive community that combines innovative teaching with state-of-the-art-facilities.
We are ambitious for our students but are more of a greenhouse than a hothouse. We believe the best way for children to reach their potential, personally and academically, is when they are nurtured and inspired.
We are part of the family-owned Gardener Schools Group which includes Ravenscourt Park Prep School, Kew Green Prep School and Kew House School. Together we share knowledge, resources, contacts and a passion for education.
Maida Vale School, like all GSG Schools, operates an ‘Open Door’ policy. This is because we believe a child’s education is a shared responsibility, one that works best when all parties are engaged – school, parents and the students themselves.
Our innovative timetable of 90 minute lessons and three-year GCSE courses provides deeper subject knowledge which is underpinned by our impressive enrichment programme.
Smaller class sizes and a unique pastoral care system means every child is known individually. Students are assigned a Personal Tutor on arrival who remains their mentor, sounding board and guide throughout their time at Maida Vale School, forming the backbone of support for both academic learning and personal development.
